4/7/2018 Michael Munley Opens Season with a Cliffhanger First Place Finish: Michael started the season fast out of the gates with his first pole position of the year. After the invert he started on the outside front row and would find himself trailing the leader in second place for 34.75 laps but the situation changed on the last corner of the list lap.  Michael saw a small opening and got underneath the leader and pulled off a clean last corner pass to take the CHECKERS  for win number one of 2018.  Later at the trailer when asked about the win Michael said t was a fun, clean race and that although he only led one lap he's glad it was the last one.

4/22/2018 Michael Wheels an Extremely Loose car to a strong Second Place:  Practice was good, qualifying was fast (personal best) but the race was ugly.  Michael got a loose car the entire race and although he was running second Michael came to the pits under yellow to get an adjustment.  That put Michael at the back of the pack with 12 laps to go.  Michael fought his way through the pack and regained second place but time ran out for him to catch the leader.  Although he struggled Michael said after the race that he was proud of his team and thanked them for working so hard to make the car better.  Michael said he will take the lessons learned and come back next race better the before.

5/12/2018 Hard Racing for a P2 Finish:  Michael fought hard and traded the lead several times only to come up one spot short of the checkers.  Michael said that the car was the best car of the year for the first twenty laps and then things got tight, really tight.  After trying to get to the bumper of the lead car Michael had to settle for second.  After the race Michael said that he felt that the team learned a lot and looked forward to getting back in the shop to fine tune his setup and looks forward to the next race on 2 June.
